Back side: Malta Cross and tracking code.

Size: 45 MM, 3 MM thick.

Finishing: black nickel.

The tracking codes have the MT prefix.

In 2015 I had the pleasure to visit Malta and to organize an event on this beautiful island. That’s where I met Chris Hendry with whom I share 2 passions, deep sea diving (although I have stopped diving at present) and of course geocaching.

This year Chris asked for a “Malta” coin and he came up with the idea of a coin with on one side the Malta Cross and on the other side the one thing all tourists remember, the Luzzu boat. I suggested some more complex designs, but Chris wanted it to keep a simple souvenir geocoin and that’s how I started to draw this rather cute and souvenir like design.
